IIP-078: Hypervisor Alpha
IIP-078 is recorded on the Hypervisor Daemon roadmap with status Planned in Horizon 1 — Hypervisor Alpha on one node: Hypervisor Alpha. Every Alpha exit test met on one node, each with a recorded verdict: a verified starting point, any harness and model, the monitor, approvals, receipts, typed actions, agents as entities, a learning plane that earns its place, evaluate-improve-release, security under attack, run control, one app and public API, scale and recovery, dogfooding, the operators’ drill, vendor exit, and fault survival. Alpha means ready to dogfood. It is not a launch..
What it is
Every Alpha exit test met on one node, each with a recorded verdict: a verified starting point, any harness and model, the monitor, approvals, receipts, typed actions, agents as entities, a learning plane that earns its place, evaluate-improve-release, security under attack, run control, one app and public API, scale and recovery, dogfooding, the operators’ drill, vendor exit, and fault survival. Alpha means ready to dogfood. It is not a launch.
Where it stands
Planned. The work is staged: first a thin end-to-end slice, then the core on the real daemon, then the pre-registered studies. Some tests are research outcomes with no guaranteed result.
What has to be true next
Every test passes as written. The bar is not lowered to fit.
Status
Planned in Horizon 1 — Hypervisor Alpha on one node. Accepted next work with canonical scope, not a delivery promise. Horizons order work by evidence, not by date.
Evidence
The paper, release, repository path or evidence bundle behind this status.
